I want to invite you to join us this Sunday morning on our Facebook Livestream as I interview my friend Wilson Smith. Wilson is a Designer at Nike Shoes, a professor at the University of Oregon, a pastor and, most importantly to our conversation - he is African American. We will have a frank, honest, hopeful (and appropriate for all ages) conversation about what it has been like to be black in America and of our hope in Jesus.
You won't want to miss this conversation! In fact, it is so good, I want to challenge you to invite friends to watch with you. This is a topic that is at the forefront of our attention, and what Wilson has to say is very important. So, invite your friends! Host a watch party. Have a ‘church at home’ party with a few friends (you can have up to 5! right in your own home!) Eat breakfast, drink coffee and watch a great interview on an important topic.
As an FYI - the interview is about 35 minutes long - a little longer than our sermons have been lately, but it is so good, I felt that it was important to show the whole thing. So be prepared! As always, we will worship and pray together - and there will be a VERY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! So - Don’t miss it! Sunday, 10:30 -11:30 (ish) .
